Emily is an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) with a Bachelor Degree in Health Sciences, who spent more than 5 years volunteering as a Breastfeeding Counsellor with the Australian Breastfeeding Association.
Despite all her knowledge and experience, Emily’s twin journey wasn’t smooth. In this interview she shares the ups, downs and tears, from having a panic attack when she discovered there were two babies (she was on her own at an ultrasound due to pandemic protocol); her NICU experience because the babies came early; feeding struggles and breastfeeding grief; to her hilarious ‘tits up’ story – you have to listen to Emily tell this. Warning: clench your pelvic floor, lest you pee yourself laughing!
